Biography:

A native of Lorain, Ohio, John earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Case Western
Reserve University in 1973, and his Juris Doctor from the University of Toledo, College of Law,
in 1977. John is admitted to the Ohio Bar, the federal and state courts of Ohio, and the United
States Court of Federal Claims, and is a member of the Toledo and Ohio State Bar Associations. He
was a trust officer and director of the probate trust department of the former Toledo Trust Company.
John is a member and currently serves as President of the Board of Education of the Anthony Wayne
Local School District. He has served as the Secretary of the Anthony Wayne Education Foundation,
and is the Treasurer and a Board member of the Anthony Wayne Youth Soccer League. John practices
in the areas of estate planning, probate, business, taxation, and employee benefits law. John and
his wife, Debbie, have three children and live in Waterville, OH.
