Terri graduated cum laude from Bowling Green State University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, specializing in marketing. She earned her law degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, graduating cum laude in 2004. While at Cleveland-Marshall, Terri served as Executive Editor of the Journal of Law and Health. Terri published an article in 2005 entitled, "What Successful Companies Know that Law Firms Need to Know: The Importance of Employee Motivation and Job Satisfaction to Increased Productivity and Stronger Client Relationships," 17 J.L. & HEALTH 385 (2005).

Terri is admitted to practice in the state courts of Ohio as well as the Federal District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. She is a member of the Toledo, Ohio and American Bar Associations.
